Welcome to the Nordic Centre of Excellence in Disease Genetics (NCoEDG)
The Nordic Centre of Excellence Programme in Molecular Medicine is a joint venture between the Joint Committee of the Nordic Medical Research Councils (NOS-M), the Nordic Council of Ministers and the Nordic Research Board (NordForsk). During 2005-2009, the Programme will support three new Nordic Centres of Excellence, NCoEs - networks of established Nordic researchers working together with common goals. It gathers prominent research groups from Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden. Nordic Centre of Excellence in Disease Genetics (NCoEDG) has investigators from Denmark, Finland and Sweden, working in five Nordic Universities pooling their expertise, methodological power and study sample resources to study the genetic background of metabolic syndrome, autoimmune and inflammatory diseases and colon cancer. |
